I understand the importance of history, but sometimes the events seem to be repetitive, and although I know how it relates to me, I never tried to interpret it into my own understanding.

However this semester, I gained a new love for history. I believe it is because of my professor that my perspective of history changed. The most interesting part of the class was the blogs. I was able to place myself in the scenarios and ask a lot of questions. My opinions and beliefs mattered when it came to the blogs because at that point it was not about just facts anymore.
